The ITS'2000 Program Committee invites submissions of technical papers, posters and abstracts (Young researchers track). The preferred form of submission is by email (details will be given later in the section Electronic submission). Printed (hard) copies submissions are also acceptable, but they must arrive in Montréal by the deadlines. We cannot accept submission by Fax. Notification of receipt will be (electronically) mailed to the first (or designated) author soon after receipt. The submitted manuscripts should not be published or simultaneously submitted to a journal or to another conference. Upon acceptance of a paper, abstract or poster the author(s) will be asked to transfer the copyright to the publisher. Note that at least one author of each accepted paper is required to register (student rate not applicable). For posters or abstracts at least one of the author is also required to register (student rate applicable if author qualify). All proposals will be examined and notification result sent by January 15, 2000. Accepted organizers will have until January 31, 2000 to submit a short position paper to be put on ITS'2000 Web site. Poster sessions enable researchers to discuss their latest results in order to gain feedback and to establish contact with similar projects. Accepted poster sessions do not involve a formal presentation. Poster proposals should include a 3 page written description of the planned poster and should emphasize the problem, what was done, and why the work is important.
