Call for Papers TWELFTH INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON METHODOLOGIES FOR INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS (ISMIS'2000) Hilton at University Place, Charlotte, NC, USA, October 11-14, 2000 SPONSORS: School of IT at UNC-Charlotte and others PURPOSE OF THE SYMPOSIUM: This Symposium is intended to attract individuals who are actively engaged both in theoretical and practical aspects of intelligent systems. The goal is to provide a platform for a useful exchange between theoreticians and practitioners, and to foster the cross-fertilization of ideas in the following areas: Evolutionary Computation, Intelligent Information Retrieval, Intelligent Information Systems, Knowledge Representation and Integration, Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining, Logic for Artificial Intelligence, Soft Computing.
