IDEAL 2000, built on top of the success of IDEAL98 (http://www.cse.cuhk.edu.hk/ideal98), focuses on data engineering technology and applications in the 21st century. Each submission should be accompanied by a cover letter indicating the contacting author, affiliation, mailing and email addresses, telephone and fax number, and preference of technical session(s). Authors can either submit a postscript file electronically, or submit four copies of the manuscript to IDEAL 2000 Secretariat. Fax submission is not acceptable. Detailed submission instructions can be found here. All submitted papers will be refereed by experts in the field based on originality, significance, quality and clarity. The final IDEAL 2000 proceedings will be an edited book published by Springer-Verlag, Heidelberg and will be published as a LNCS/LNAI series.
