A postdoctoral position is available for developing a supervised learning
system for target detection. This project involves the development and
application of machine learning algorithms for high-dimensional data
classification. A major component of this project involves the integration of
feature selection, support vector machines, and image processing algorithms.
The ideal candidates should have a PhD in computer science, electrical
engineering, or related fields with research experience in pattern recognition
and statistical learning techniques such as support vector machines.
Experience with image processing is a plus. The candidate should be able to
program in a language such as MATLAB, C, C++ etc.
