SENIOR LECTURERS / LECTUERS
The Department of Enterprise Integration at Cranfield University is seeking
to recruit members of academic staff. The areas of expertise are Change
Management / Organisational and Management Development (Ref. No. C/0203A)
and Decision Engineering (Ref No. C/0204A).
The successful candidates will be ambitious and capable of enhancing our
significant international reputation within industry and academia. You will
probably hold a PhD. You will be keen to work at the leading edge of
industrial / academic collaboration with Best Practice clients. You will be
able to contribute to our prestige Masters Programmes - 'IT for Product
Realisation', and 'Enterprise Integration' within your field. You should
want to develop and lead your own research team to international standards
of recognition. You might be interested in online learning.
The positions offer excellent opportunities in a dynamic and growing
Department of about 80 people within the School of Industrial and
Manufacturing Science (RAE 5, TQA 'Excellent').
Candidates interested in Change Management / Organisational and Management
Development will be able to contribute to our existing teaching and research
and work with senior managers in areas such as: e-business, organisational
change, engineering and business process improvement, market positioning,
team development, technology as a business enabler, new organisational and
learning forms.
A part time appointment may be considered for candidates more interested in
the teaching role as part of our established management development
programme.

Candidates interested in the Decision Engineering area will be able to
contribute to our existing teaching and research and to specialise in areas
such as: Design Optimisation techniques, Design and Manufacturing Cost
Engineering or Design and Manufacturing Knowledge Capture and Reuse. The
candidate should have a PhD in appropriate Engineering or in Computer
