is looking for a Senior Miner/Analyst to join its growing group
of world-class experts in data mining and knowledge discovery.
The analyst will participate in customer analysis and CRM projects
focusing on banking, insurance, and ecommerce sectors.
The analyst will work on all steps of the knowledge discovery
process, from business problem definition, to data cleaning
and model development, to results presentation and model deployment.
Specific requirements include
M.S. or Ph.D. in Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent
At least 2-3 years of experience in data mining
Experience with CRM and/or database marketing applications desired
Knowledge of different modeling approaches
Expertise in SAS/perl helpful
Familiarity with Unix environment
Good communication skills
Analysts are expected to be able to quickly pick up new tools and techniques
and work in flexible, project-oriented teams.
Some amount of travel is required.
