At the new Lab for Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing of the
Albert Ludwig University in Freiburg, Germany,
there is a vacancy for a "Wissenschaftliche Assistenz (C1)".
This is a fixed-term (2 times 3 years) position
at the post-doc/lecturer level.
The emphasis of the research in the lab lies on machine learning
and data mining, especially inductive logic programming
and its applications to e.g. bioinformatics and natural language processing.
The ideal candidate should have a good research record in one
or more of the above mentioned fields, have an interest
in both fundamental and applied research and in
contacts with industry and other research institutes.
