| Senior Software Engineer, Automated Advertising

Amazon is seeking top software developers to build the Internet’s largest-scale autonomous advertising system. Your code and algorithms will automatically generate, target, measure, and optimize tens of millions of individual advertisements. You will work with technologies including Web services, information retrieval, relational databases, data mining, text mining, machine learning / AI, natural language processing, and statistical forecasting.
Candidates must be innovative, creative, flexible, self-directed, and understand how to design and write high-performance, reliable, maintainable code. We look for unusual intelligence and a track record of achievement. A BS or higher in CS and proficiency in C++ or Java are required. Experience with large-scale UNIX/Linux distributed systems and advanced algorithms is desired.
