Within our talented and dynamic Analytcal Services group, the Data Mining Analyst will participate in multiple engagements and will assist the team in providing data-mining based services. The Data Mining Analyst will interface often with senior management and clients and will utilize strong communication and analytical skills to deliver creative solutions. Work is diversified and challenging, and requires knowledge of both statistical and predictive modeling. Responsibilities:
Utilize in-depth background in SAS, SPSS (and like) to build and run data mining algorithms. Analyze the client datasets utilizing knowledge of SQL and Ms tools. Evaluate the integrity of the data and convert databases into a format suitable for data mining. Consult with business profesionals in evaluating the business implications of the results.
Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel. Participate in client meetings and collaborate to plan the engagement. Interface with client to gather requirements and data. Utilize strong verbal and written communication skills to assist with delivering final presentation to client.
Commit to developing knowledge. Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery. Respect/protect client information. Maintain an educational program to continually develop skills.



Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for in-depth analysis of database information and creating predictive statistical models to aid in various marketing initiatives. The candidate will support other consultants in recommending marketing strategies based upon complex analytical tasks. He or she will conduct and coordinate inter-departmental market research projects and coordinate the projects with outside vendors when applicable. The candidate is also expected to create management reports using various statistical applications and database management tools.
To qualify for this excellent career opportunity, candidates must have:
• an undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering (preferably industrial engineering), mathematics, operations research, statistics, and/or other related major from a globally reputable university Master's or advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (Ph.D.) is a plus.
• approximately 3 years of working experience performing data mining analysis
• experience and skills on working within a complex environment with demonstrated capabilities in organizing, translating, and presenting complex quantitative information
• solid computer skills in SAS and/or other analytical tools; knowledge of SQL and Ms Office tools is preferred
• Working knowledge of advanced statistical methods such as regression, factor analysis, neural networks, and genetic algorithms with a proven ability to build statistical models using SAS (or similar modeling software)
• customer relationship management (CRM) experience is preferred
• strong analytical and technical skills and the demonstrated ability to creatively solve complex problems
• working knowledge of predictive modeling, relational databases, and computational data analysis
• excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

The successful candidate must be willing and able to travel in Eastern Europe, Turkey and Middle East, when necessary.
