The specific project entitled "Analysis and Intelligence for Anti-fraud", is offering a post-doc position with the following description:
Project Description
The ideal candidate has a Ph.D. in computer science with a specialization in one of the following fields: Large Databases, Data Warehousing, Data Mining/KDD, Data Visualization, or Statistics.Tasks will include both research and software development activities in support of the EU's anti-fraud work programme. The successful candidate will develop further hands-on data mining experience on large databases and will contribute to new developments in the techniques used at JRC.Some experience in the practical use of the Oracle RDBMS and the PL/SQL language in a Microsoft Windows environment is very useful. Working experience in datamining and/or data quality issues is highly desirable. Knowledge of the MATLAB software, the Business Objects or SAS Systems, and the JAVA programming language is an advantage.
Duration: 24 months
