The specific project (G07 1) entitled "Surveillance Review Station", is offering a post-doc position with the following description:
Project Description The ideal candidate has a Ph.D. in pattern recognition and/or image processing. He/she will participate in the development of a tool for the analysis of multisensory surveillance data together with staff of the “Surveillance and Information Retrieval” sector. The work consists in the analysis of surveillance data from nuclear installations (e.g., images, radiation measures, etc.), including finding effective representations of sensor data in view of detecting and classifying Safeguards relevant events. The candidate will therefore develop and test different types of data representation and classification techniques.Moreover, the candidate will explore the possibility of integrating simulation and visualisation tools to the image review station, for increasing the scene understanding through the knowledge on the context in which surveillance data are acquired.
