| Machine learning and Information retrieval group at IBM Almaden research center is inviting applications for both regular positions and post doc positions. Ideal candidates will have a Ph.D. in CS/EE/Statistics/Applied Math or an engineering discipline with an inter-disciplinary background in machine learning, probabilistic analysis, statistics, with a proven record in research, innovative thinking, real world problem solving, and fast prototyping.
Primary areas of interest include
· Machine learning, probabilistic inference, Bayesian methods, and statistical learning.
· Text analytics, information retrieval, and natural language processing.
In addition, strong programming and software development skills are required.
