| The VISICS group is urgently looking for a Post-Doc in the area of image processing for Remote Sensing. The
candidate has to have a strong background in computer vision, preferably with practical experience in the domain of
aerial and/or satellite image interpretation. S/he will lead a group of PhD students and will manage several
research projects. S/he will also assist with the course on computer vision for the Master in Earth Observation
Programme that the University of Leuven organises jointly with the University of Purdue in the USA. The team is
supposed to evolve towards a self-sustaining operation with a strong commercial component. This could be in the form
of a spin-off company. Hence, MBA or similar training is a definite plus.We offer a dynamic environment at one of
