| The University of Kansas Information and Telecommunications has two openings for postdoctoral researchers. Duties are to perform research in machine learning and bioinformatics as assigned by supervisor and work in an interdisciplinary research team; write reports, papers, and presentations describing the work; other duties as assigned.
Required qualifications are earned doctorate in computer science, statistics, bioinformatics, mathematics, or a closely related scientific discipline; research experience in statistical learning; able to program in at least one of the languages: MATLAB, C, and C++.
Preferred qualifications are reserach experience in Bayes network or motif discovery; research experience in bioinformatics in general; published papers in machine learning/bioinformatics areas.
