Annotations

Data from behavioural traces of several human pilots controlling an F-16 flight simulator have been analyzed in [Michie and Camacho 94]. Michie and Camacho suggested to separate data into parts corresponing to different flight stages (take-off, transition from take-off to climb, transition from straight and level flight to left turn etc.). Each part has been used to induce a separate controller for the considered flight stage using Quiland's C4.5. The actual "stage transitions" data set was used by the ILP system IndLog to induce the rules for stage transitions of the whole flight plan [Camacho 94].

This dataset contains the training and testing examples, background knowledge as well as the theory induced by IndLog.
